Joseph Dobbs

Senior Officer, NATO Nuclear Policy Directorate

Joseph Dobbs is currently a Senior Officer in NATO’s Nuclear Policy Directorate, joining from his role in the UK Parliament as Policy Analyst to the House of Lords International Relations and Defence Committee. Prior to this, Joseph was a Research Fellow at the European Leadership Network and contributor to the private consultancy firm, Geopolitical Intelligence Services (GIS). He is an alumni member of the Younger Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security (YGLN).

Dobbs completed his postgraduate degree at the University of Oxford, focusing on Chinese politics and foreign policy. Prior to this, studying at the Universities of Hong Kong and Liverpool, achieving a first class BA in Modern History and Politics.

Joseph has been widely published, from the Financial Times to Moscow’s Kommersant, and regularly comments for the media. He is active on social media, and can be followed on Twitter.
