Målfrid Braut-Hegghammer is Associate Professor at the University of Oslo, specialising in nuclear strategy and security studies.
From 2010 to 2015, she was Assistant Professor at the Norwegian Defence University College and MacArthur Junior Faculty Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation, Stanford University (2013-15). She has been a pre- and post-doctoral fellow at the Belfer center, Harvard University (2008-10), and a Stanton Junior Faculty Fellow at Stanford University (2012-13). She has published her work in International Security, The Middle East Journal, the Nonproliferation review, the International Herald Tribune, the International New York Times (online) and Huffington Post.
