Douglas Barrie is a Senior Fellow for Military Aerospace at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). His areas of expertise include Defence, air power and air forces; NATO, China and Russia; and Guided weapons, defence-aerospace industry.
He previously worked as London Bureau Chief of Aviation Week & Spae Technology (2001-2010), European Editor of Defense News (1999-2001), Defence Aviation Editor of Flight International (1991-1999) and Deputy News Editor of Jane’s Defence Weekly (1989-1991).
