Dr Prokhor Tebin is a Moscow-based independent military and national security specialist. His research is focused on grand strategy of the US and Russia, relations between Russia and the US/NATO, conventional deterrence and naval developments. He is an author of numerous academic papers and articles published in Russia and other countries.
Prokhor graduated from the Moscow State University in 2010 with a degree in international affairs. In 2012 he obtained a PhD degree in political sciences from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO).
Prokhor works at PJSC Ilyushin Aviation Complex, part of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation. Previously, he worked at the Moscow office of a London-headquartered business intelligence firm and a Moscow-based consultancy.
