On 3 March 2022, the European Leadership Network (ELN) convened the Contact Group on Russia-West relations via Zoom to discuss the current situation in Ukraine, as well as prospects for diplomacy and the purposes and efficacy of sanctions. The ELN brought Russian, Ukrainian and European speakers to share their views on these subjects, among others.
