ELN Research Fellow Thomas Frear presents at the CSIS PONI 2016 Capstone Conference

On April 12 2016, ELN Research Fellow Thomas Frear participated in the CSIS PONI Capstone Conference at US Strategic Command (STRATCOM) at the Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.

The one-day conference featured presentations from emerging nuclear experts covering topics such as modernization, unconventional threats, nonproliferation, and culture within the nuclear enterprise along with keynote addresses from senior experts.

Thomas Frear presented the ELN’s work on incident management in light of its nuclear dimension, and took part in a seminar with US deterrence policy makers. He was part of the panel on “Modernization across Russia and China” and presented on “The NATO-Russia Strategic Relationship.”
