Sophie Taylor attends workshop on improving gender representation in policy debates

On 8-9 July 2019, Network Development and Communications Officer Sophie Taylor joined over 65 participants representing 16 European countries for a two-day workshop hosted by the Brussels Binder Beyond.

The event aimed at fostering a community of like-minded organisations, think-tanks, and databases across Europe that promote women’s voices in public debate and research.

Experts from foreign policy, legal and media gathered to brainstorm the creation of toolkits aimed at empowering women and assisting event organisers and journalists to prevent all-male panels and improve representation.
