Guner Ozkan

Deputy Director of the Eurasian Department, USAK

Guner Ozkan completed his B.A degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Ankara in 1994. He completed his M.A in 1998 and PhD in 2004 on international relations in the Department of Politics at Sheffield University in the United Kingdom. Ozkan is the Deputy Director of the Eurasian Department and the European Leadership Network (ELN) Project Coordinator at the International Strategic Research Organisation (ISRO/USAK) in Ankara, and a lecturer at Necmettin Erbakan University at the Department of International Relations in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Konya. His research interests are security and foreign policy issues in Eurasia and the Middle East. Guner Ozkan wrote a number of academic and commentary articles and provides expert opinion on security and foreign policy issues on Television and newspapers in Turkish and English.
