member Asya Shavrova co-authored an article in ‘Russia in Global Affairs’ journal that proposes five steps towards a new START extension from Russian perspective. One of the important conclusions is that ‘with sufficient political will, it would be possible to secure an extension of the New START treaty even after the US presidential inauguration on January 20, 2021’.
