On 28-29 November 2023, the ELN convened a workshop to identify the risks posed by the aggregate effects of emerging and disruptive technologies (EDTs) on nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3).
In June, the Contact Group convened for a two-day in-person meeting in Istanbul to discuss the future of the Group and exchange views on the state of, and prospects for, Russia-West relations.
Members of the NEVER network convened on Thursday, the 24th of August, to discuss climate change, climate change governance, and the role of great power competition in aggravating this existential risk, with NEVER coordinator, Edan Simpson, chairing the meeting.
