General the Lord David Ramsbotham GCB CBE was a retired British Army officer, former Adjutant General and ADC General to Her Majesty the Queen. General Ramsbotham later served as Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Prisons. He was awarded a life peerage in 2005, and sat on the cross benches of the House of Lords. David was a founding member of the Top Level Group of UK Parliamentarians for Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation.
We were saddened to hear of Lord Ramsbotham’s passing, December 2022.
