Frank O’Donnell is a doctoral candidate in War Studies, King’s College London and research associate with the Centre for Science and Security Studies. His research focuses on Indian nuclear policy and Asian security. He has previously worked as a researcher for the University of Aberdeen, James Martin Centre for Non-proliferation Studies and the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence.
Frank O’Donnell holds an MA Honours First Class degree in International Relations and Middle East Studies from the University of St. Andrews, and an MSc degree in Strategic Studies from the University of Aberdeen.
He has also analysed developments in South Asian terrorism and counter-terrorism for the Centre for Terrorism and Political Violence, providing research and policy advice on topics including the 2006 Mumbai bombings and Pakistan central government management of the North West Frontier Province.
