Katja Keul is a member of the German Bundestag and was elected in 2009 on the Alliance 90/The Greens party list in the Lower Saxony constituency.
A qualified lawyer, from 2009-2017 Ms Keul served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Alliance 90/Greens. From 2013-2019 Katja served as the legal spokesperson for the party, and from 2017-2021, served as spokesperson on Disarmament (2017-2021). In December 2021, Ms Keul became Minister of State for the Federal Foreign Office.
