Madeleine Moon

Former President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and Politician

Madeleine Moon is a former British Labour Party politician, having served as Member of Parliament for Bridgend from 2005 to 2019.

In 2010, Madeleine joined the House of Commons Defence Select Committee and the UK delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Active in Parliamentary duty, Ms Moon held positions in a number of all-party parliamentary groups (APPGs), including serving as Vice-Chair of the APPG on the Armed Forces and Chair of the APPG on the Royal Air force and Reserves and Cadet Forces.

In 2018, Madeleine was elected President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, a position she held until leaving the UK Parliament in 2019.
