Mogens Lykketoft

Former Foreign Minister and Former President of the UN General Assembly

Mogens Lykketoft is a member of the Danish Parliament representing the Social Democratic Party, and served as the 1st Vice-President of the Parliament. He has served as Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance and Minister for Taxation and is former chairman of his party.

He was unanimously elected President of the United Nations General Assembly in June 2015, and presided over its 70th session until September 2016.
