ELN Privacy Policy (newsletter)

The European Leadership Network (ELN) is committed to protecting the privacy of our mailing list subscribers. This policy details the information we collect from you, how it is processed and stored, and how it is used. It also provides information on accessing your data, and options to modify or delete it.

What we collect

Our newsletter sign-up form records your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. Our external service provider (see below) also records you IP address and the date and time that you sign up so that we can provide proof of your assent to be contacted should you request this.

How we process and store your data

Our mailing list is operated through and the data stored by MailChimp, an external service provider. This enables us to keep your data secure, whilst making it easy to unsubscribe from our mailing list should you wish to do so. You will never be contacted by MailChimp directly.

How it is used

Our mailing list is used to communicate information regarding our latest publications, information regarding public ELN events, and selected information regarding the activities of trusted partners. We also record certain metrics regarding the success of our mailing list, such as the percentage of mailings opened. This enables us to improve our output over time. Your personal data is not linked to such statistics.

Access to your data

You have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you. If you wish to request this information please contact [email protected] and we will provide a copy of your data as soon as possible.

Modify or delete your data

You can modify your personal information directly through the link provided in our newsletters, or submit a request to [email protected].

Please be aware that unsubscribing from our newsletter does not permanently delete your data; you will no longer receive our newsletter but your personal details will remain on our newsletter database. If you wish these details to be permanently deleted, please inform us via [email protected].

You also have the right to contact MailChimp directly to request that your data be permanently deleted.
