Dana Marca is the Founding member and Vice-President at the Global Focus think tank and a founding member of Romanian branch of Women in International Security. Since 2011 she has been the associate member of the Professional Women Network and the Aspen Institute, Romania. Previously she held a number of senior official posts in the civil service including First Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, First Secretary at the Political Section of the Romanian Embassy in Berlin and the Second Secretary of the Division for arms control, non-proliferation and counter-terrorism at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
