Nadine Andersen

Research Assistant at the SIPRI Climate Change and Risk Programme

Nadine Andersen is a Human Security graduate from Aarhus University, also holding a bachelor’s degree in international studies and English from Aalborg University. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Danish and currently works at SIPRI’s Climate Change and Risk programme as a research assistant. Having previously worked with UNDP, UNOPS, and IUCN, her projects included addressing environment and resilience issues in Kenya, empowering youth for nature conservation in Sri Lanka, and planning an international workshop on hydro-diplomacy in Thailand. Passionate about sustainable solutions to global challenges, Nadine’s research has focused on African and Pacific climate and human security. She thrives at the intersection of development, environment, and security.
