Oleksiy joined Shell in Ukraine back in 2008 after several years of experience in international business with focus on deal structuring, negotiations, policy and advocacy.

Oleksiy held various positions both in Ukraine and in Shell’s headquarters in The Hague. Oleksiy served as Deputy Country Chair developing unconventional gas projects in Eastern Ukraine until 2014. Outside of Ukraine, he worked on the Kashagan project (2011) and a $63bn BG deal as part of the Deal Team during the preparation, completion and integration phases. In 2014-2016, Oleksiy worked at the position of the Business Advisor to EVP Government Relations.

Since Jan 2017, Oleksiy is leading Energy Transition Program PMO from the Strategy Department. The program involves 10 countries and is now in the implementation phase with strategic business intents formulated and multiple business opportunities (>500) identified/pursued. Oleksiy is also a member of Shell External Business Environment leadership team (in the external world this team is better know as Shell Scenarios team).

Oleksiy graduated from Kyiv National Economic University in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration. Oleksiy also holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute of Global Economy and International Relations of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine.
