In early November, Sir Malcolm Rifkind MP, Lord Des Browne and Dr Ian Kearns, took part in meetings with German leaders, parliamentarians, policy specialists and others in Hamburg and Berlin.

The British delegation met with, among others, Minister Werner Hoyer (the group is pictured together on the right), former Foreign Minister Egon Bahr, former President Richard von Weizsacker and Former Foreign Minister Hans Dietrich Genscher.

As a result of the meetings, the ELN will host a High-Level Dialogue on NATO-Russia relations in the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in June 2011.

The ELN will also partner with Pugwash for a symposium on nuclear issues in Berlin at around the same time. Further details will be posted on the web-site soon.
