Katie Duffy

Programme Manager on Climate Resilience and Infrastructure at British Expertise International

Katie Duffy graduated from Dublin City University in 2021 with a Master’s degree in Climate Change: Policy, Media and Society. Prior to this, she also completed a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations.

Since graduation, Katie has been working in the private sector on climate change programming, with a specialised focus on resilience. Throughout research in her degrees and her career, Katie has demonstrated a vested interest in the intersections of climate change, most notably those of race, class and gender. Having previously contributed to policy papers and recommendations relating to climate change, Katie is an advocate for accessible and inclusive policymaking, with a community-orientated focus.
