Safia Sangster is a Senior Policy Associate at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the UK’s national human rights institute, where she focuses on artificial intelligence and digital technology policy. Prior to this, she worked as a Policy Advisor at the Ministry of Justice UK and has experience in the not-for-profit sector. She earned her Master’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Bristol in 2020.
In 2022 Safia represented the UK as the Head Youth Delegate to the G7 and currently serves as the Head of Opportunities at the Future Leaders Network, supporting UK youth delegations at the G7, G20 and COP summits.
