Emily Enright is an MA Candidate in International Conflict Studies at King’s College London. She currently holds the position of Research and Administrative Assistant with the Centre for Science and Security Studies at King’s College London, working under Dr Heather Williams on issues pertaining to the NPT and nuclear disarmament. A former Australian civil servant, and former project officer with the Young Australians in International Affairs, Emily holds a BA with Honours (Politics and International Studies) and a Diploma in Languages (French) from the University of Melbourne. She also holds a Certificate in International Affairs and Strategy from Sciences Po, Reims.

Emily’s research interests include the instrumentalisation of power in creating perceptions of nuclear legitimacy; nuclear ethics; violence and security in theory and practice; and the politics of non-proliferation and disarmament institutions.
