Sophie-Jade Taylor is the Senior Network Development and Communications Manager at the European Leadership Network (ELN), having joined the organisation in 2018 as Network and Communications Officer, then Manager.
In her role, Sophie oversees engagement with the ELN’s high-level networks and partners, contributing across the full breadth of the organisation’s work to ensure Network engagement and contribution in research, events, advocacy, communications, and growth. She served as the organisational point person for gender champions in nuclear policy from 2019 to 2022, coordinating efforts to improve diversity in working practices.
Prior to joining the European Leadership Network, Sophie worked for the House of Lords International Relations Committee and the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy. Alongside parliament, her professional background includes roles in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK Mission to the United Nations, Geneva, and in political risk consultancy and monitoring.
Sophie holds First-Class Honours in International Relations and a Distinction Masters in International Security and Development, securing a scholarship, both from Swansea University.
