ELN partnered with the Center for Energy and Security Studies (CENESS), organizer of the 2019 Moscow Nonproliferation Conference, in holding a joint session on “The 1995 NPT Review and Extension Conference: Lessons for Today.”

Distinguished panelists included Amb. Grigory Berdennikov, Amb. Peggy Mason, Mr. Robert Einhorn and Mr. Nabil Fahmi. Speaking from first-hand experience, they reminded why the international community decided for an indefinite extension of the Non-proliferation Treaty and what lessons we can learn from that time towards the NPT 2020 Review Conference and beyond.
