Betty Suh is Research Fellow at the German Council of Foreign Relations (DGAP) as well as PhD fellow at the Institute for Peace Studies and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH). Her dissertation discusses North Korea’s nuclear signaling vis-à-vis the US; her work includes issues of nuclear arms control and non-proliferation more broadly, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Previous stints include freelance consultancy for the Organization of Security Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), assistance jobs at the German Institute of International and Security Affairs (SWP) and the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF). Betty is also part of the leadership team of International Students/Young Pugwash (ISYP).
