Dr. Semeniy is a Director of Institute for Global Transformations (IGT).
Graduated from Institute of International relations at Kyiv T.Shevchenko National University and Carl Friedrich Goerdeler College for Good governance (Berlin). Wrote his PhD thesis at WWU-Muenster (Germany) in 2001-2004. In 2006 worked in German Bundestag in the framework of IPS as assistant to the people’s deputy.
His professional experience includes senior positions at National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (Adviser to the Secretary) and Foreign Policy Department of Presidential Administration of Ukraine as well as legal department at one of the largest Ukrainian financial-industrial groups.
Member of Euro-Atlantic Security Leadership Group, Younger Generation Leaders Network, Munich Young Leaders network, OSCE Think Tanks Network, KAS Alumni, EASI Next Generation project, Carl Friedrich Goerdeler College Alumni.
Was member of IISS-FES expert group “Foresight Ukraine 2027” and Carnegie “Transnistria Task Force” in 2011-2013.
