Mr Richard Benyon MP is a Conservative Party politician who is the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Newbury. He has held the positions of Parliamentary Under-Secretary at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs between May 2010 and October 2013, Shadow Minister for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs between January 2009 and May 2010 and served as Opposition Whip in the House of Commons from July 2007 to January 2009.
