ELN Policy Fellow Julia Berghofer was a panelist at the annual conference of the Deutsche Atlantische Gesellschaft (DAG) on 26 January 2021 where she spoke about strategic challenges for Germany in 2021, including prospects for nuclear arms control, Russia and China. She was joined on the panel by Dr Detlef Waechter, Director General for Security and Defence Policy, Federal Ministry of Defence and Minister a.D. Christian Schmidt MP, President of the DAG. The panel was moderated by Werner Sonne, journalist and author.
