Maria Usacheva is working on a renewal of the International Region Studies / European Studies B.A. programme at the Komi Republican Academy of State Service and Administration (Syktyvkar, Northwestern Russia), where future and current politicians and state officers get their education.
She herself was trained as a political scientist and linguist in Perm (Russia), Osnabrück (Germany), and Moscow. Since that time, Maria used to work at the German Embassy Moscow, Friedrich Ebert Foundation, NATO Information Office in Moscow, NGO “Petersburger Dialogue” in Berlin etc.
Furthermore, she continues to consult politicians and individuals on different issues and is currently involved in a new project connecting with a titanium mining in the Republic Komi.
Maria is a YGLN member since 2014.
