An ELN delegation comprising Deputy Director Shata Shetty, ELN member Tom McKane as well as Policy Fellows Katarzyna Kubiak and Sahil Shah went to Moscow to promote the new report Can Moscow and London find a way forward on the NPT?

On 5 March 2020, Shata Shetty and Tom McKane together with project participant Dmitry Stefanovich (RIAC) spoke at a Discussion on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons at the Valdai Discussion Club. Later that day, the ELN in collaboration with the British Embassy in Moscow and the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) organised a panel discussion on The Non-Proliferation Treaty at its Golden Anniversary followed by a reception at the British Ambassador’s Residence. Ambassador Grigory Berdennikov (CENESS), Tom McKane and Dr Matthew Harries commented on two NPT reports presented by Shata Shetty and Katarzyna Kubiak:
