In a new article for the Heinrich Böll Foundation, ELN Policy Fellow Julia Berghofer discusses the threat to nuclear weapons systems coming from cyber attacks. Although this is still a widely underestimated challenge, potential vulnerabilities in the supply chain and within the system itself are cause for serious concern; particularly as these systems tend to get ever more complex over time and thus more vulnerable to cyber interference (German only).
